Biography

Anessa Allen Santos, J.D. is a seasoned attorney and business executive having served in senior management positions leading three technology companies from idea through exit by acquisition of publicly traded companies. Afterwards, Anessa started IntelliLaw to provide business and legal consulting services to deep and emerging technology companies worldwide focused on the following practice areas:

A former adjunct law professor, Anessa is a frequent guest lecturer and keynote speaker for the Florida Bar Association, and at select universities, conferences, and podcasts on varied subjects such as ethics in data analytics at the UCF Florida College of Engineering and Computer Science, market cannibalism at the National Press Club, and at the Cryptocurrency Act of 2020 on Capitol Hill.

A recipient of the prestigious Silver Stevie Award for 2020 Solo Female Entrepreneur of the Year, Anessa has been repeatedly voted among Orlando’s Legal Elite and has been recognized for her work in human rights law by Marquis Who’s Who of Top Attorneys. Also, a published academic in the peer-reviewed Florida Bar Journal, she has been featured by the nationally syndicated Daily Flash, the Florida Hi-Tech Corridor, and in Humans of Blockchain.

Anessa enjoys serving as a Director on the Board of the Florida Blockchain Business Association and as a business law mentor to Orlando’s technology accelerator. Anessa is proud alumna of Oxford’s Saïd Business School where she studied Blockchain Strategies and Financial Technology. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton and a Bachelor’s in International Diplomacy from Wright State University.
